Tru Açaí was born from our passion for authentic Brazilian açaí and the culture we grew up with in the Amazon region of Brazil. In 2016, we moved to the United States carrying our traditions, knowing it would not be easy to be far from the flavors and experiences that were part of our lives.
As we traveled across different states, we searched for the true taste of authentic açaí, but never found the quality and flavor we remembered from home. During a visit to a small town in Pará, Brazil, we had the opportunity to learn even more about the deep roots of açaí culture and experience the passion behind its production. That journey inspired us to bring a piece of our culture to the United States, and that is how Tru Açaí began.
